About Bob Meyer
BIOGRAPHY
I started my Insurance career in 1977 as an Agent for Mutual Service Insurance, selling property casualty, life, and health products. After approximately 5 years, I left MSI and became an Independent Agent. This gave me the ability to offer my clients a larger choice of products. I enjoy helping people solve their insurance and risk problems, and have done so successfully for over 30 years.
EDUCATION
In addition to college, I have completed a 3 year Life Underwriters Training Course (LUTC) and 4 parts of the Charter Property/Casualty Underwriter Program (CPCU). Each year 15 hours of Continuing Education (CE) course work is completed, along with various company sponsored seminars.
FAMILY
My wife, Loralu teaches 2nd grade in the Rosemount School Dist 196. We have two sons, one living in Minneapolis, and the youngest temporarily living with us while looking for a career in marketing.
HOBBIES
My wife & I enjoy traveling, dining out and taking in a movie. I also assist my wife with her Watercolor Painting Business, handling the accounting and web site maintenance. Of course I still enjoy a game of golf, but don’t look for a hole-in-one anytime soon.
